




Classes Our Classes are fun and full of exercise and moves that will keep you coming back for more. All of our Instructors are extremely friendly, highly certified and will provide motivation to help you achieve your fitness goals. We strive to continue our education so that we can offer the latest in fitness classes to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. DAC's 2,000 square foot aerobic studio offers a large exercise area, a sophisticated sound system, and a suspended wood floor for an exhilarating workout. Classes throughout the day are led by certified instructors and include a wide range of aerobic programs and specialty classes. Instructors are highly qualified. All are certified and acquire continuing education credits to keep them updated in the aerobics field. The classes offer an environment that is safe, challenging, and fun! YOGA Beginners are welcome! We spend extra time in each class with beginners while the more advanced students can work at their own pace. Please don’t feel intimidated if you are a beginner. We will be patient and encouraging. We offer modifications for all stretches and poses. Please wear warm, comfortable, loose clothing to class. Bare feet are recommended, but not required. Please attend regular yoga classes to prepare for the advanced yoga classes. Classes will focus on the mind/body connection improving your mental and physical health. It will enhance inner silence, harmony, and peace of mind. Yoga is an excellent cross-training routine for all.
Young at heartYoung at Heart (YAH) classes are special classes designed for active, older adults. These specified classes concentrate on balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular work.
Water AerobicsThere are many benefits of water aerobics. Not only does water support 80% of your weight providing buoyancy to support your body weight it takes strain off of your back, bones and joints while you work out. It also is a good source for cardiovascular conditioning, and can improve flexibility, and it is Fun! Come out and try a water class.
Spinning. Spinning (aka cycling) sessions are designed to be a great cardiovascular workout for our members whether you're beginning a fitness program or are an experienced cyclist Set to music, the sessions are lead by our certified SPIN instructors
Our unique Spin Facility is designed for the experience of spinning and accommodates up to 17 riders.
Specialty classes The classes described below are all classes that offered for a nominal fee. Days and times are available at the fitness center desk
RIPJoin us for 60 minutes of heart pumping, butt kicking, body forming weight training using weighted barbells. Come get ripped!
Group Circuit ClassesAlso know as Group Training classes, these classes are designed to assist you in getting acquainted with the fitness center. They are a fun way to work out with a friend, make new friends, and get a new workout routine. Group circuit classes include: strength training, cardiovascular exercise, or a combination of both.
PilatesPilates is a conditioning program that improves strength tone, flexibility, posture, coordination, and muscle control. Each exercise is designed to open the joints involved and release tension while building strength. Pilates requires personal supervision; making it one of the safest workouts you can take. Pilates elongates and strengthens developing muscles, flexibility and join mobility. A body with balanced strength and flexibility has reduced risk of injury. Rather than pursuing an unrealistic goal of having the "perfect body" try developing a healthy self image and a nice shape through the attainment of better posture, enhanced coordination, increased strength and improved flexibility.
