Pilates

 

Pilates is a conditioning program that improves strength tone, flexibility, posture, coordination, and muscle control.  Each exercise is designed to open the joints involved and release tension while building strength.

Pilates requires personal supervision; making it one of the safest workouts you can take.  

Pilates elongates and strengthens developing muscles, flexibility and join mobility.  A body with balanced strength and flexibility has reduced risk of injury.

Rather than pursuing an unrealistic goal of having the "perfect body" try developing a healthy self image and a nice shape through the attainment of better posture, enhanced coordination, increased strength and improved flexibility.
